Focus Note is a single-purpose capture tool built for ADHD minds. Open the Chrome side panel, type what you need to remember, and save it. No folders, no tags, no setup, no pressure — just the thought, out of your head and onto the screen.

It runs entirely in the side panel and stays out of your way. There are no tabs to read, no pages to scan, and nothing that ever leaves your device.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Capture — type a thought and save it (or press Ctrl+Enter). Each note gets a short auto-title from its first words, so the list stays scannable.
  • Stay uncluttered — notes appear as a simple list you can expand to read and collapse when done. Delete any note the moment you're finished with it.
  • Copy all — copy every current note to your clipboard in one click.
  • Download — save all current notes as a plain .txt file, right to your device.

Notes automatically clear after 24 hours — on purpose. That's the whole idea: Focus Note is a working scratchpad for today, not another archive to manage and feel guilty about. It's not a bug and it's not hidden — the app tells you up front, in the panel and in settings. When something matters past today, use Copy all or Download first to keep it. Either way, nothing leaves your device.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your notes live only in this browser (chrome.storage.local). Focus Note has no server and sends nothing anywhere — there are no network calls in the extension at all. No account, no cloud, no sync, no ads, no tracking. See exactly how little moves in the data-flow diagram above.

FREE — WITH AN OPTIONAL BACKUP UPGRADE

The full note experience is free forever: capture, copy, download, and auto-clear. One optional one-time upgrade — Data Backup (the Trust Vault, one-time lifetime license) — adds local structured export and import of your Focus Note data, saved to a folder you choose and never through 864zeros servers. It's the only paid piece, and the core note tool never gates behind it. If Focus Note helps, you can also leave a tip — totally optional, and the app is identical either way.
